There are so many benefits to it that allow you to process emotions with a third party that isn’t involved in the day to day of the complicated feelings that may exist.

Being able to learn how to articulate boundaries, conserve relationships through improved communication and expressing vulnerability all while getting perspective from someone else are huge benefits that are long-lasting.
